One of the foremost Czech violin-players His career began during the studies at the Prague Academy of Music and Academy of Performing Arts as the pupil of Prof. Václav Snítil. The cooperation with Nathan Milstein and Gidon Kremer then predetermined definitely Jaroslav Svěcený for the career of a soloist. Jaroslav Svěcený is a renowed popularizer of playing the violin. Especially his television, radio, and concert projects attract the audience of all age groups. He is also renowned connoisseur of the history and design of violins. He is often invited to professional juries at violin-makers‘ competitions. His concert tours encompassed all continents. He has recorded many compact discs with the compositions of significant Czech and world authors. He became the first Czech violin-player who recorded a music medium for the Sony Classical and in 1996 he was awarded the prize of Masaryk Academy of Arts for creative artistic activity. contact: sveceny@sveceny.cz |

Prague chamber orchestra The Virtuosi Pragenses Chamber Orchestra was founded by the violin virtuoso and conductor Libor Hlaváček in 1970. The members of the ensemble are prominent Prague musicians. Jiří Antalovský was born in Prague. He studied photography at School of Graphic Arts and cinematography at FAMU, Film Academy of Fine Arts. In 1990 he founded ANTA atelier and focussed on commertial photography, graphic design and DVD production.
